Paypal Mail Announces Steam Winter Sale To Begin From Tuesday
In today’s day and age, gaming has become as mainstream as any other form of entertainment. The markets have matured to such a stage that we can now consider gaming as a full-fledged industry. We accept gaming for what it is – i.e., a multi billion dollar industry which has a potential which continues to grow and expand with every passing day.
With an increasing number of love and attention for the world of gaming, several gaming centric brands too have risen. Steam, for instance is a leading brand in this category. Steam has been making the news off late over security concerns, but amid all that drama, Steam has tied up with Paypal and is about to start off with the Steam Winter Sale from Tuesday, the 22nd of December.
An e-mail from Paypal which was leaked by various recipients recently asks you to ‘get your game on’. It clearly mentions that the Steam Winter Sale is all set to begin from the 22nd of December, and special offers are available for the holders of digital gift cards.
Here’s a screenshot of the e-mail that has been sent out by Paypal to various users:
While no end date has been mentioned, it is widely expected that the company will be running this promotion through the year, heading into the new year. The Steam winter sale is expected to end on the 1st of January.
Steam used to practice flash sales in the past. Users had to keep their eyes on the site throughout the day to hunt for the best deals. However, Paypal will not be doing so, and will instead be using the standard price throughout. This is actually good for the users as they know this is the cheapest deal they are getting their games at.
You know the date! Get ready for this incredible Steam Winter Sale and ensure your paypal accounts are well protected. Time to ‘get your game on’!
